Numerous upgrades were made on the 2009 touring bikes. After 28 years of using the same basic frame architecture, Harley introduced the all new, redesigned, two piece frame that is stronger with fewer parts and provides much improved handling, increased lean angle, and an increase in the gross vehicle weight rating by 100 pounds.
